Fool's Walk - 3 - The Empress home

I am the mistress of bees.
Flowers are mine, and fruit.
Vineyards bear at my command,
oak trees render sculpted seed,
nectar burns to comb and honey.

I am the keeper of hearths.
Barley is mine, and corn.
Kitchens warm by my decree,
malt gives rise to heady mead,
bread is born of wheat and fire.

I am the lady of nests.
Mothers are mine, and milk.
Labor comes as I give leave,
midwives handle birth with ease,
babies sleep, gently cradled.

I am the priestess now wed.
Creation is mine, and growth.
Welcome, welcome to my domain -
here orchards bear the fruit of dreams;
here summer mates with fertile land;
here farmers till the sun, and prosper.
